Day 1 - Northern Phuket and Hot Springs

We'll have breakfast at Karon beach overlooking the early morning sea as we map our course for the first day.


Then we move on to Tong Sai waterfall where the quiet jungle forest will help bring us into 'harmony' with nature.


After crossing back to the west coast we'll stop for lunch at Mai Khao, one of the most scenic beaches in Phuket, forgotten by most tourists.


Leaving Phuket we'll head to the Phang Nga Hot Springs and Park where the locals and Thai tourists go to relax those aching muscles.


On our way back into Phuket we'll stop for pictures at the scenic Sarasin bridge.


Nai Thon beach is our next stop as we spend some time lying on the tree - lined beach in the late afternoon and swimming.


A stop in the Palace of art on our way back will give you the chance to see some of the history of this richly cultured island in the orient.


We'll have a rest and then prepare for the evening back at the hotel.


Dinner and live music in one of Karon's finest restaurants.  Anybody is welcome to stand up and sing!

Day 2 - Central Phuket and Phuket Town

• Breakfast at Chalong Bay

• Phuket Aquarium

• Muslim Village

• Ao Yon beach and Yacht Club

• Lunch in Phuket Town

• Kathu Village and waterfall

• Massage and Sauna at Hideaway

• Hotel

• Dinner & Traditional dance

 

 

 

 

 

 

We'll have breakfast at Chalong bay as the sailboats and fishermen prepare for the day.


We'll stop for pictures in the Muslim Village at the boatyard where traditional techniques of boat building still prevail.


We move on to Ao Yon beach where we find the Phuket Yacht Club.  Here we can take out a little sailboat for a spin and swim.


Lunch in Phuket town and a taste of 'city life' on the island.  You'll have to bargain if you do any shopping here.


We continue our journey to lovely Kathu Village and waterfalls to enjoy some cool and quiet in the midday heat.


Late afternoon is the right time for sunset and swimming at Kata Beach.  


Then we'll get a massage and sauna at Phuket's finest - Kata Hideaway.


We'll have a rest and then prepare for the evening back at the hotel.


Dinner and traditional Thai dance at another fine restaurant serving both Local and European cusine.

Day 3 - Southern Phuket and Elephant Trek

• Breakfast at Kata Beach

• Rawai fishing village

• Laemka beach

• Wat Chalong

• Lunch at "Don's"

• Elephant trek

• Naiharn beach

• Local Dinner at Laab Classic

• Night life in Patong

 

 

 

 

We'll have breakfast at Kata beach before heading to the southern tip of the island.


We begin in Rawai, fishing village and beach.  Here we can observe the local fishermen and their 'long tail' boats.


We continue east to Laemka, a secluded little beach known only by locals. We'll sample some of the delicacies at the market.


A visit to Wat Chalong which was home home to Laung Pho Chaem many years ago. According to tradition this monk changed sea water into sweet water.


We'll have lunch at "Don's".  You can find any type of food you like in this oasis frequented by foreign nationals who have retired here.


After lunch we'll have a little adventure and go on an Elephant trek.  These animals are an integral part of Thailand's economy.


Once again late afternoon is the ideal time for a swim in the sea, this time at Nai Harn beach on the southern tip of the island.


We go back to the hotel to relax before having dinner at one of the finest local restaurants - Laab Classic.


A little night life and shopping in Patong where we'll be surrounded by other tourists.  This is where most people go for when they need a little 'action'.
